The British Library are holding a series of interesting workshops related to family history and British India. There is no requirement for previous knowledge. All the workshops are free and you can attend one or both sessions on any one day.

‘An introduction to family history sources in Asian & African Studies’

starting at noon on 20 May, 18 June, 17 July and 19 August, lasting ca. 75 minutes

‘Sources for military ancestry in the East India Company and India Office archives’ 

starting at 14.30 on 20 May and 17 July, lasting ca. two hours

‘Beyond baptisms, marriages and burials: sources of biographical and career information in the East India Company and India Office archives’ 

starting at 14.30 on 18 June and 19 August, lasting ca. two hours.
